Our look is complete, Aria, you shall be going for classic and lovely as befits you, something soft and a bit classically fierce to contrast with your image in the procession. I know your Escort and Mentors have already discussed strategies with you, but if I can suggest, look proud and lovely and fierce and you cannot go wrong.
Your dress is ready and my darlings have already done your hair, I know.
Chip, you have already intrigued the crowd with your Training Score, and as we know part of your charm is your likability, so you are approachable and handsome, the lad next door we all want to get behind. We will not dress you up and try to make you a dandy, rather a professional and an intellectual who we would all like to know better.

[Private to District 3 Support and Mentors]
I have made last minute alterations in the costumes to accommodate our two young people. The wiring is all set up and the micro-batteries will be installed underneath their hair pieces. I do not want a single strand of their hair not standing upright on their head do we understand? It must reach the sky. And shave that young man's scruff, I want them pure and untouched as their costumes glow around them. The girl, white white white with the face and mouth except the eyes. Him I want pale as well, as if they are of are not really beings at all but some sort of machine to cut down their enemies! Make sure the girl doesn't have a bit of hair on her body anywhere her costume is so sheer they will be able to see the slightest strand.
I expect them to be ready for their costumes no later than five and then I will come in and meet with them and dress them myself!

Note, the costumes are woven through with tiny wires and lights that will make them glow softly, with the larger wires glowing more brightly. Also yes, Aria's costume is really that revealing. Sorry. Chips costume is a touch more masculine than this, think Gladiator rather than model. |

Wasn't today's reaping just quite moving? Such emotion. Such wonderful stories to play out. I am certain that this year's games really will be the best ones ever. And I am so pleased that I have such lovely canvases to work on this year. My dear children Tacita is going to take good care of you, never fear. |
